Collaborate with ESBICM
Much of what ESBICM does today began as a conversation with someone who wanted to teach, learn or build something with us.
We work with individuals, groups and organisations who care about how intensive care is practised — in tertiary centres and in units managing with very little. Tell us what you have in mind and we will look for a way to do it together.

What we are trying to do
Better care for critically ill patients, wherever they are treated — nursing homes, teaching hospitals, well-equipped centres, and units working with very little.
The exchange of knowledge and experience between people who would otherwise never meet.
A culture of continuous learning, and the bedside skills that get overshadowed as technology advances.
WAYS OF WORKING TOGETHER
What collaboration can look like
- Teaching together — Joint classes, courses and workshops, online or in person.
- Events — Sessions at your conference, or a meeting we run together.
- Content — Shared teaching material, translations, or work on The ICU Channel.
- Research — Multicentre studies and surveys, through our Research Committee.
- Reach — Bringing ESBICM teaching to a region, an institution or a network that would not otherwise have it.
