Courses
Our structured programmes are created by the Academic Committee (ACE) and taught by the ESBICM faculty, who are working healthcare professionals themselves. Some courses lead to formal certification, and others are there to build clinical knowledge we can use every day.
THE ESSENTIALS
The shape of a course
This is how most of our programmes run. If a course is structured differently, you will find the details on its own page.
Sessions are taught live online, usually in the evening (IST).
Recordings stay available to enrolled participants for the length of the course, so a night shift doesn't mean a missed class.
Most courses end with an examination, and passing earns a Certificate of Completion.
Some courses award a certificate without an examination, and some carry no certificate. Each course page says which applies, and every certificate can be verified publicly.
Examinations are taken on a laptop or desktop computer.
Phones and tablets are not supported, so please arrange a computer and a steady connection in advance.
Fees are in Indian rupees and are paid in your member panel.
The ICU App does not take payments, but you can open the member panel in a mobile browser.
All teaching is in English.
Sessions, course materials and examinations are all in English.
PAYMENTS
Where a course carries a fee, it can be paid only on this website, in your member panel.
The ICU App does not show course fees, nor does it take payments. If you are using the app on your phone, open a mobile browser, go to esbicm.org and sign in to your member panel to see the fee and pay there.
