A collegial learning community for Critical Care trainees.

About the Forum

The ESBICM Mentorship Forum brings together experienced intensivists and Critical Care trainees from across institutes and across the world. It is a collegial space for clinical questions, case discussions, exam-journey support, and honest exchange between peers and mentors — a supplement to the trainee’s own guide and department, never a replacement for them.

The Forum operates on WhatsApp, with mentors drawn from the ESBICM Global Critical Care Faculty Network. Mentorship is offered voluntarily and free of charge, in the same spirit that has animated ESBICM since its founding — the belief that Bedside Intensive Care education should be freely accessible and affordable to every healthcare professional involved in the care of critically ill patients.

Who Can Join

The Forum is open to Critical Care trainees anywhere in the world, currently enrolled in any recognised training course or fellowship:

  • DM — Critical Care Medicine
  • DrNB — Critical Care Medicine
  • FCCCM — Fellowship of the College of Critical Care Medicine
  • IDCCM — Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine
  • EDIC — European Diploma in Intensive Care
  • Or any other recognised Critical Care fellowship or training programme

Trainees from any institution — government, private, trust, or corporate — are welcome on equal terms.
