What we do
Outlined below are the primary methods, among others, through which we deliver Bedside Intensive Care Education to students, doctors, nurses, and all individuals involved in the care of critically ill patients.
Online Forums
Our online doubt-clearing and discussion ESBICM forums provide an excellent platform for posting, sharing, discussing, learning, relearning, and improving concepts related to bedside intensive care medicine. There is no charge to join; registration is free. All that is required is authentic information during registration.
YouTube Channel
The YouTube Channel is the most popular section of ESBICM. Originally named “BEDSIDE INTENSIVE CARE,” it later became affiliated with RegularCrisis and was renamed “RegularCrisis by ESBICM.” Based on feedback from ESBICM members and students for better clarity, the channel was renamed “The ICU Channel” on May 27, 2022, to focus on creating FREE educational videos for healthcare professionals.
The channel covers a diverse range of topics, including bedside clinical examination, ICU tips, podcasts, interpretation of ICU investigations, ICU procedures, case discussions, extensive ICU lectures etc.

Online Lectures and Classes
ESBICM offers live online lectures and classes, primarily conducted via Zoom or Google Meet, attended by students, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals from around the globe. These sessions are widely known as ‘ESBICM Critical Care Classes.’
The uncut recorded versions of these classes are accessible to ESBICM members through their member’s panel and are shared with non-members via ESBICM Google Groups.
Workshops and Conferences
From time to time, we organize physical workshops and conferences on various Bedside Intensive Care topics, providing valuable opportunities for face-to-face interaction with our members. If you would like to host a workshop at your institution, please contact us.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have shifted to online workshops and have placed physical workshops on hold until further notice. Currently, we are accepting requests exclusively for online workshops and lectures
Bedside ICU Data Archive
There’s a saying, “You will never make a diagnosis you have never heard or seen before.” This adage is particularly relevant in ICU and ED settings, where both knowledge and experience are crucial. Experience stems from encountering numerous clinical scenarios and conditions.
Consider the impact of collecting and sharing the data we observe daily in our ICUs online, allowing it to be reviewed, solved, and practiced repeatedly. Such an approach would vastly enhance our clinical skills and patient care. This is precisely the aim of the ESBICM Bedside ICU Data Archive. It includes ABGs, ECGs, Radiology, Bedside Clinical Signs, and ICU Clinical Data for viewing and practice. The database is continually expanding, so make sure to check it frequently.
