1. Infusion fluid Lasix High Dose for IV use is a mildly buffered alkaline solution. Lasix High Dosecan be added to 5% Dextrose in water Isotonic Saline or Lactated Ringer's Injection when mixedas directed and prepared immediately before use. Furosemide (Frusemide) may precipitate in, andtherefore is incompatible with, solutions in which the pH of the resulting mixture is less than 5.5.Furosemide (frusemide) should not be added into the tubing of a running infusion solution. Also,it should not be mixed with any other drugs in the infusion bottle.


2. Dilute 10 mL of furosemide (frusemide) 10 mg/mL injection with 40 mL of sodiumchloride 0.9% (final volume 50 mL). This results in a 2 mg/mL furosemide (frusemide)solution.Do not use if discoloured. Discard solution after 24 hours
